What's the difference between double-wide and modular?

Double-wides are manufactured to HUD code and transported in two sections. Modular homes are built to local IRC code. Our manufactured double-wides are HUD-certified and qualify for financing as real property when foundation-set.

Can I place a double-wide on any lot?

In most counties, yes — subject to zoning (manufactured housing permitted), lot size (typical 0.25+ acre), and utility availability. We help confirm before you order.

How is it assembled on-site?

Two sections arrive on separate trailers, are lifted onto the foundation, bolted together, and seamed internally. Exterior siding, roof, and interior finishing complete after joining. Total setup: 2–4 days.

Do double-wides qualify for FHA/VA loans?

Yes — when installed on a permanent foundation with real-property classification and HUD insignia.
