The kitchen anchors the home. Light honey-stained wood-grain shaker cabinets (real wood, not laminate) topped with white quartz, a peninsula bar with two black metal counter stools, and a sage-green painted accent panel above the counter that’s the focal point of the open-plan room. An oversized round wall clock with Roman numerals hangs on the open wall — staging detail, but it sets the Nordic-minimalist tone perfectly. Recessed LED downlights handle the work surfaces, pendant lights drop over the peninsula.
