The Scottsdale

The Scottsdale is a 640-square-foot park model — 1 bedroom, 1 bath, ANSI A119.5 certified, road-legal as a recreational vehicle. It's our southwestern / desert-modern interpretation of the larger park-model footprint, with warm honey-wood cabinetry instead of the white-shaker palette we use on most other models. Buyers headed to AZ, NM, or West Texas land are the ones who usually pick this one.

Outside, the Scottsdale wears a single warm-cream color across vertical board-and-batten siding, with a peaked covered porch and a triangular shaker-style truss accent at the gable. The porch railing is a modern horizontal black-cable system between white posts — clean lines that still pair with the warm body color. Concrete entry steps with white handrails. The home reads warm and grounded rather than bright-white-and-modern.

Inside, the vault carries from front to back. The living room sits at the front under a row of transom windows plus a generous grouping of full windows on the long wall — easily the brightest living room in our park-model lineup. A mini-split AC handles climate. The kitchen wraps two walls with a peninsula island that seats two: honey-stained shaker cabinets with black hardware, beige-and-grey granite countertops, stainless undermount sink with a transom-window row above, black side-by-side fridge with water dispenser, stainless smooth-top range, and a black integrated dishwasher.

A pub-height bistro dining set with bar stools tucks beside the kitchen, with stained-wood bar shelves and woven storage baskets giving the dining area a warm-built-in look. The bedroom is set behind a barn-door style sliding closet panel — white panel with horizontal bands and dark metal track — with a vaulted ceiling, mini-split AC at the gable, and dual nightstands. The bathroom is the unexpected feature: a walk-in framed-glass shower lined with reclaimed-wood-look large-format tile in driftwood greys, paired with a honey-walnut vanity and granite top.
