The Cardinal

The Cardinal is a 399-square-foot park model — 1 bedroom, 1 bath, ANSI A119.5 certified, road-legal as a recreational vehicle. It's our farmhouse-with-copper-accents take on the 399-sqft platform, a clear sister model to the Hayden (coastal cottage) and the Cedar Ridge (modern farmhouse, darker palette).

Outside, the Cardinal is the one buyers spot from across the lot. White vertical board-and-batten siding from base to gable, white columns and white horizontal cable-railing on the front porch, and a copper-toned metal roof that runs the full length of the home and over the gabled porch overhang. The peaked gable carries an X-truss accent in painted white, so the structure of the porch becomes part of the curb appeal. Wood-deck porch flooring, white five-panel front door, raised on the chassis with white skirting.

Inside, the Cardinal goes vault-to-loft. The full-walk staircase climbs along the long wall — stained natural-pine treads, craftsman-style risers, with a stained-pine handrail and black horizontal cable barriers at the loft edge. The whole shiplap accent wall along the stair is painted white, so the natural-wood elements (stair, railing, ceiling beam soffit) sit cleanly against it. The kitchen sits opposite: white shaker cabinets with gold/brass bar pulls, a deep white apron-front farmhouse sink, gold gooseneck faucet, marble-pattern quartz countertops, stainless side-by-side fridge with water dispenser, and a stained-pine beam soffit that wraps the upper kitchen wall under a continuous transom-window row.

The living area is grey upholstered sofa territory — teal accent pillows, framed botanical prints on the shiplap, vaulted ceiling with recessed lighting. Wood-look LVP runs through the main floor in a warm orange-walnut tone.
